Daily Sacrifices can seem like a mountain to ascend, and that all piled up, one on the other, it would be too much for one person to take on. Coupled with the guilt of not doing enough already, and I wouldn't blame anyone for just falling in a heap of warm laundry and eating bread (isn't that the dream?) However, here you are, hopefully ready to do 'the next right thing'. Not worrying about the big picture, just always coming back to the next right thing. For this new world to work, you’re going to have to be mature and make some sacrifices. You’re going to have to physically order (or even cook, gasp!) a vegetarian meal. You’re going to have to hear some uncomfortable truths about the history of the world & how we’ve treated one another. (resource below) You’re going to have to spend an hour reading about a greener superannuation fund & a greener bank. You’re going to have to grow up. You’ll be scared for the future, complacent that your keep cup is enough, careless because you don’t think donating $20 is going to help, or that your one Vote won’t do anything, or that you can’t personally instigate change. You can.
